Vogue Fashion Night in Paris
On September 10th Vogue magazine has organized a Fashion Celebration Night simultaneously in 13 cities around the world – a farewell party to crisis and welcome one to fun, elegance and luxury.
In Paris it took place in the famous “Triangle d’Or” mainly on Montaigne avenue where most shops where opened till midnight.
Vogue magazine initiated this great idea. Carine Roitfeld – Vogue french edition editor-in-chief – was the queen of this wonderful parisian night.
Avenue Montaigne was packed with friendly, relaxed, smiling, good looking people who had come to hang around and see new collections. A bit of a change for avenue Montaigne that is usually such a quiet place as well as slighlty posh.
Some stores as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Chloé, Versace or Dolce Gabbana were difficult to get in. But with a nice smile you could get in anywhere!
I had never seen such a concentration of beautiful women. They were everywhere wearing short dresses and high heels. In this atmosphere it was difficult for men to get noticed.
Vogue cars were driving models around. I noticed this girl with nice oversize frame.
One of the funniest atmosphere could be found at Manoush where you could get cotton candies and marshmallows.
While at other stores champagne and macaroons were also very appreciated.
Among catwalk shows in the street, the Pucci one was remarkable.
L@ team loved so much the atmosphere of this event that we started to imagine how to attend the 13 Fashion Celebration Nights around the world next year!
